Kyu Exam (In-Person)

There will be two testing dates for in-person karate this semester (with makeup dates available if you cannot make either of these dates).

Exam fees are as follows and include the certificate, registration with the Japan Karate Association, and color belts if applicable:

• Beginners and up to green belt [practicing Takiyoku Shodan and/or Heian Shodan]: $20
• Testing for green belt (6kyu) and up to 4th kyu [practicing Heian Nidan, Heian Sandan, Heian Yondan]: $30
• Testing for brown belt (3kyu) and up to 1st kyu [practicing Heian Godan, Tekki Shodan, Bassai Dai]: $40
