We will begin the exam promptly at 7pm, so please do not be late. I will have the grading forms all filled out, so I just have to check your name spelling, get your age, and any previous experience you may have had.
We will start the test with basics, followed by sparring, and then kata. Anyone who has not previously tested with me will first perform Takyaku Shodan. If you perform that well, then I will ask if you want to perform Heian shodan. If you do that well, I will ask if you want to perform Heian nidan, and so on.
Please do not forget the grading fee. I cannot issue belts or diplomas or submit your paperwork to JKA headquarters without it. Also bring your JKA passport if you have one and would like it stamped.
