The official Canadian Gasshuku in Montreal was very well attended with over 200 participants and 40 people testing for various dans and certifications over the course of 4 days. Guest instructors included the Chief Instructor of the Japan Karate Association, Ueki Masaaki Shihan (10th dan) and Imura Takenori Shihan (8th Dan).
Congratulations to Chiara Chung-Halpern for passing her instructor and judge certification tests under Ueki Shihan Sensei! And special congratulations to Craig Sensei for passing his 6th dan exam under the same instructor!
