JKA-SKD Canada will be hosting the 2019 Canadian Gasshuku in 1111, rue Notre-Dame Quest (coin Peel), Montreal, Canada, H3C 1K3 from August 29th (Thursday) to September 1st (Sunday), 2019. Any JKA-affiliated dojo member who is at a 5th kyu or above is eligible to participate and the costs will be $350 for the entire camp (all classes, 3 lunches, 1 banquet ticket w/ 1 drink), $120 for a day registration (including lunch) or $60 for a single class. Preference is given to those registering for the entire camp.
There will also be Dan exams up until 7th Dan with corresponding increasing fees as well as qualification exams for becoming an instructor, examiner or judge.
The special guest instructors will be:
- Ueki Masaaki Sensei, 10th Dan - JKA Shuseki Shihan
- Imura Takenori Shihan, 8th Dan - JKA Instructor
- Ogane Yutaro Sensei, 3rd Dan - JKA Instructor
The registration deadline is August 1st, 2019 and payment can be sent by check or money order to JKA-SKD CANADA, CP 96510 BP Gare Centrale, Montreal, QC, H3B 5J8.
If you’d like for Sensei to register for you, bring payment to class no later than Monday, July 15th. There are a variety of hotels within walking distance of the camp.
